Film and Video Prod LLC is a Delaware limited liability company providing video production services and operating the Editdrop platform, a marketplace connecting businesses with video editors for short-form social media content creation and auto-publishing.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Name, email address, profile photo, and business name when you create an account via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.

• Business information: Business niche, city, and connected social media platform details.

• Payment information: Payment details are processed through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card or bank account numbers.

• Content: Videos, images, and text you upload to our platform for editing and publishing.

• Social media data: When you connect your Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or LinkedIn accounts, we access your profile information, publish content on your behalf, and retrieve engagement metrics (likes, comments, reach, impressions) as authorized by you.

• Chat messages: Messages exchanged between creators and editors through our in-app chat system.

• Usage data: Information about how you use the app, including device type, operating system, and interaction patterns.

• Analytics data: Post performance data including engagement metrics, posting times, and content analysis used to generate insights and recommendations.
   

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate our video production and marketplace services

• Process payments and calculate editor compensation and performance bonuses

• Publish content to your connected social media platforms at optimal times

• Generate AI-powered hashtags, captions, and content recommendations

• Display performance analytics and engagement data in your dashboard

• Provide AI-powered customer support

• Screen uploaded content for safety and policy compliance using Google Cloud Vision API

• Communicate with you about your account, jobs, and platform updates

• Improve and develop new features for the platform

• Comply with legal obligations
   

4. Third-Party Services

We share information with the following third-party service providers who process data on our behalf:
 

• Stripe: Payment processing (Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy)

• Firebase / Google Cloud: App infrastructure, data storage, authentication, and content safety screening

• Anthropic (Claude AI): AI-powered hashtag generation, content analysis, and customer support chat

• Meta (Instagram / Facebook): Content publishing and engagement data retrieval via Instagram Graph API and Facebook API

• YouTube (Google): Video publishing and engagement data via YouTube Data API

• LinkedIn: Video publishing and engagement data via LinkedIn API

• OpenAI (Whisper): Audio transcription for subtitle generation
   

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Social Media Permissions

When you connect your social media accounts to Editdrop, you grant us permission to:
 

• Access your profile information (name, username, profile picture)

• Publish video content on your behalf

• Read engagement metrics on published content (likes, comments, reach, impressions, saves, shares)

• Access your list of managed Pages (Facebook) to identify linked Instagram accounts Schedule and time content publication

​You may revoke these permissions at any time by disconnecting your social media accounts in the app's settings or by removing the app from your social media platform's settings.
 
6. Content Safety and Moderation

All uploaded content is automatically screened using Google Cloud Vision API for safety compliance. Content flagged for violence, explicit material, hate speech, or other policy violations may be blocked and not published. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for content involving terrorism, child exploitation, or hate speech, which results in immediate and permanent account suspension.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Job-related data (uploaded videos, edited content, chat messages) is retained for 12 months after job completion. Performance analytics data is retained for the lifetime of your account to power your dashboard and AI coaching features. When you delete your account, your personal information is deleted within 30 days. Content already published to social media platforms is not removed by us.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication via Google and Apple Sign-In, encrypted storage on Google Cloud / Firebase, and access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data

• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account

• Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format

• Objection: Object to certain processing of your personal data

• Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules. Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

12. Cookies and Tracking

Our mobile app does not use cookies. Our website (editdrop.app and filmandvideoprod.com) may use essential cookies for functionality purposes only. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of our services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
